Donna Renay Patrick has reinvented herself many times. Over several years she has gone from musician, to choir director, to worship leader, to paralegal, to paralegal instructor, to author, to radio host, to international podcaster. Having served in music ministry from the age of 11 she still has a passion for it, and yet trains choirs and teams in why, as members of the music ministry they are leaders first. Donna is a transformational speaker who hails from Decatur, Illinois. She is serious about walking in her own, God-ordained purpose, and helping others walk in theirs. She is a spiritually-gifted teacher who trains and develops praise teams, choirs, and congregations in biblically-sound praise and worship. She is the recipient of two Christian Literary Awards for her Devotionals - At All Times, and It’s In Your Praise. She has co-authored 4 anthologies; most recently, No More Unclaimed Promises, which hit Best-Seller status in February 2022. When mentoring her clients about living in their unique purpose, she works to bring them so laser-focused on it that anything else is a compromise. Because training others to walk in purpose, and biblical worship are priorities for her, she has been a guest on podcast stages in Australia, London, Canada, and South Africa, as well as in the U.S.
Donna is a regular presenter at the Bay Area Church Workers Convention (BASS), has had a Commentary published with The African American Lectionary, and serves on the faculty of the Artelia Hutchins Training Institute of The National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses. Donna also serves on the Executive Board of the Northeastern District Baptist Association, and is a certified instructor with the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.
Donna earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bishop College in Dallas, Texas, as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University.
