As a Liberty Tax Service Franchise owner for a decade, she has made significant contributions to her community, providing tax services and mentoring over 300 professionals. Kandy also founded InHands Tax & Consulting, offering training for aspiring tax preparers.

Her accolades include a 2024 Proclamation from the City of New Orleans, being named Businesswoman of the Year in 2022, and hosting the Boss 2 Boss Tax Tour.
